The Situation
KY AEPA had a visibility problem hiding in plain sight. The cooperative had been delivering real value to Kentucky school districts, municipalities, and nonprofits for years — but their website made none of that legible. Built on a locked-down third-party marketplace platform, the site was expensive to maintain, nearly impossible for staff to update, and so unappealing that their own administrator described it as something that didn't make her want to go in. A CMS-driven vendor directory of 85+ contractors is fully searchable and filterable, with each record surfacing the Kentucky-specific representative, contract details, and direct punch-out links to vendor ordering pages. Relume components and a clean, minimal design language give the site a professional credibility the old platform never had. The result is a site built to grow: staff can add vendors, post webinars, and publish resources in minutes.
